What's been going on..

Here are the girls in their "fort shirts" for the fort that daddy made for them outside on the castle.

Life is going great, I have started back to school and I'm taking Microbiology and Pharmacology. As of right now I have a B average in both, so i'm excited about that. Riley seems to know the days that I have to go to school because the night before he does not let me sleep much. Charlie has been home with the kids since he was born in Jan and I think he is ready to get back to work but he is really enjoying his time with the kids. Speaking of Charlie he got a new job with in the department. He has really been looking for something new at work to get into so i'm very excited for him and this opportunity. He will be working with the City Marshall's and dealing with the court system. This will allow him to have weekends off for the next two years, which I am really looking forward to.

Riley has Eczema and the dairy in my milk makes him break out really bad. So his doctor has taken me off dairy products for at least two months. Its hard to find something to eat that is not dairy. I'm really craving a milkshake right now. He is almost 13 pounds right now and is in 3 months clothes and filling those out. He is so darn cute and handsome, I just love to kiss all over him. Recently Grandma Beverly came down to visit and the kids loved that, and to be honest me and charlie loved having the extra hands around the house. I think the kids liked having someone different living in the house besides just mom and dad. Charlies sister Amanda also came down for a few weeks and that was wonderful also. She helped with the birth as she is certified as a Doula, which was nice.

Carmen is doing great in school as always, Peyton and Isa love saying goodbye to her as she gets on the bus every morning. Peyton really wants to go to school so we are going to look into a program for her, even if its just a few days a week.

Here are a few pics of the family:)

So These past two weeks or so we have had a few firsts for Peyton, Carmen and Isa.

We had our first peach picking experience in a small town called Stonewall Texas and everyone had a blast. They were not ripe enough to eat right now but the kids still enjoyed it a lot.

Peyton got her first black eye....I'm not quite sure how it happened. Her and her sisters were playing in the room then you hear a loud screaming and they say she fell and hit her head. She took it like a champ though, and she wears it well:)

Peyton also had her first hair do. Can you see the pigtails? I know she dosn't have much hair but she sure looked cute in them.

Here is Carmen playing with Peyton in the peach orchard. They had lots of fun and the trees were just the right size so they could reach them and didn't need our help for the most part.

Here is Isa looking wondering if the ones she has are ripe enough or need to be put back. She had so much fun but just kept picking and picking them even though we were not taking them all. I think it is something we will look forward to doing again next year probably.

We had so much fun spending time with grandma and grandpa and Dylan.

Carmen, Isa and Dylan are just about to get started filling up their bucket.

Aunt Mykel and baby Ethan enjoying some much needed cold water. It was Hot!!!

Spending time out at the lake house with Nana and Katie.

Last but not lease grocery shopping and stacking all the ravioli as high as I can before they fall over. You can see the smile on her face behind the binki as she knows its about to fall.

Vacation

Here are the girls at the zoo looking into the fish pond trying so hard not to fall in.

When we started taking the picture there were two goats with their head poking out of the fence and letting the girls pet them.

If you look really hard you can see the giraffe in the background....he kinda blends in with the rocks though.

Charlie and Isa being silly at dinner and Carmen riding on one of the many carousels we found. I have such a beautiful family!!!!

Well we just got back from a two week vacation and crossed over nine states. It was a journey thats for sure. We stopped at Charlies friends house in Alabama, then went to grandmas house in North Carolina and a cousins house in Tennessee. The girls really enjoyed meeting everyone and going to all the different zoos and attractions. In Tennessee we didnt get to go many places being that we were there a few weeks after the flooding. We had not been watching the news much prior to leaving and did not realize how much devastation there was in Nashville, which is where we were. All in all it was a good trip. I decided that I need an RV or trailer though b/c three kids in the back of a minivan was a little hard. We drove mostly at night which was the best option since the kids are sleeping and its easier that way.

So this past weekend we had carmens 4th birthday party and I think it went pretty well. It was freezing cold outside so the kids could not go out side and play on her new present that you will see at the end of the photos. She also got a fish for her birthday so we will see how that goes, i'm not to good at keeping things alive (things that are not human and can not tell me what they want).

I went outside to put water on the fresh grass and I came into this wonderful photo opportunity. me and my mom had just cleaned everything up.

In these next two photos we were at the zoo with charlies sister and brother in law and all the girls. All the girls includes, carmen and isa, their sisters maria and fatima, whom charlies sister is adopting. It was a fun time. Peyton wanted to be held most of the time while the other kids were running around having so much fun.

While i'm at school and charlie is home peyton stays with him and here she is enjoying playing in the laundry basket. And then here is the girls present, we got it finished on Carmens birthday. So if you have been to our house lately (past year or so) you know how messed up our back yard was. Now it is level for the most part and enjoyable for the first time in five years. We love it!!!!!
